Alongside their academic studies, Teachers College students have many out-of-class opportunities that allow them to engage with their peers, develop new interests and skills, and be in community with one another. Check out some of our community programming and resources, including annual and recurring initiatives!

Student Life Ambassador Cohort Program

 Student Life Ambassadors (SLA) provide 麻豆原创 students with opportunities to connect with peers, support with navigating 麻豆原创, and resources during their graduate student experience.

Family Day

Family Day is an annual program for 麻豆原创 students who are parents bring their children and family to campus to experience a day at Teachers College. The children of 麻豆原创 students who are parents will get to experience what it's like to be a graduate student at the College.

Graduate Student Appreciation Week

GSA Week is a chance for 麻豆原创 students to be celebrated for all that they do! This week includes a variety of events and giveaways, including the annual GSA Week t-shirt.

The Provost’s Student Excellence Awards Ceremony is an annual event that recognizes and celebrates 麻豆原创 student leaders that have contributed to the 麻豆原创 community whether individually or as a group.

Harlem Celebration Series

Students have the opportunity to explore and learn more about the neighborhood Teachers College is located in by participating in the Harlem Celebration Series. Events in this series happen regularly throughout the academic year.

Lockers for Commuter Students

Do you commute to campus? Need a space to store things so you don’t have to carry them around? Students can rent a student locker for the entire academic year. Information is sent through our newsletter at the beginning of each semester, or can be found on 麻豆原创 Engage.

Community Programming Series

Students who commute to campus, are enrolled in a fully online program, attend 麻豆原创 part-time, or are older students have the chance to meet fellow 麻豆原创 students who share these identities through the Community Programming Series. Events in this series happen regularly throughout the academic year.
