EMPOWERING THE 麻豆原创 COMMUNITY
When Thomas Bailey was inaugurated as Teachers College鈥檚 11th President in 2018, his message was that, to help build a stronger and more equitable society, 麻豆原创 first needed to build 鈥渁 stronger and more effective Teachers College.鈥�
More specifically, Bailey sketched a vision of an administrative restructuring that would more effectively 鈥渆ncourage brilliant people to pool their ideas and efforts to achieve common aims鈥� and develop 鈥渃omprehensive solutions to deep problems.鈥�
The College has since launched a range of efforts aimed at fulfilling Bailey鈥檚 vow to 鈥渃reate pathways for all to flourish.鈥� The pandemic has kicked that work into even higher gear. 麻豆原创 has moved to the forefront in delivering teaching and learning online, reimagining its research culture to promote collaborations and enable more faculty to fund their work, and establishing a new career development center to help students and alumni prepare not only for the next job, but for the many job and career changes they will make throughout their lives.
