Dear Members of the ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ Community,
We hope you are enjoying the spring semester and the increasingly warm weather. We are writing to let you know ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ continues to be βMask Mindful,β despite recent changes to the mask guidelines at CU. In essence, this means that masks continue to be optional for vaccinated individuals.
The Covid-19 Working Group is closely monitoring on positive cases, hospitalizations and deaths. ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ will reinstate a mandatory masking policy if the cityβs seven-day averages reach or exceed a combined positivity rate of 5%, 180 hospitalizations and 10 confirmed deaths. Though positivity rates are trending upward, hospitalizations and deaths are trending downward, and we are hopeful these trends will continue. However, if the city reaches all three of these benchmarks, we will immediately update you on our revised mask guidance.
Keeping Campus Healthy and Respectful
- , if you have not already done so.
- Continue to complete the each day you plan to access campus, as well as to report any COVID-19 symptoms or positive test results.
- Continue to comply with the weekly Random Testing Program, if you are selected for testing.
- Caring for one anotherβs physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is a core ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ community value. It is vital that you respect any individual who chooses to wear a mask without questioning their decision.
