Free or low-cost immigration legal help is available from a number of organizations in New York:

  • The New York Immigration Coalition has a list of helpful resources at
  • The Immigration Advocates Nonprofit Resource Center also provides a list of immigration legal services in New York
  • The City of New York offers New Yorkers “free, safe immigration legal help in a network of trusted community-based organizations” visit or call the MOIA Immigration Legal Support Hotline at 1-800- 354-0365 and say "ActionNYC," (during business hours Monday to Friday).
