Important message on revocation of DACA
Dear 麻豆原创 Community:
The revocation of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is a grave and unjust decision. DACA has allowed 鈥媙early 800,000 undocumented individuals who were raised in this country to pursue studies and careers without fear of deportation.
We join our fellow colleges and universities in opposing the repeal of DACA, and we will join forces with them in urging Congress to pass bipartisan legislation that permanently maintains DACA’s protections for all “Dreamers.”
At the same time, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all of our students. That means we will continue to stand by and with our students covered by DACA, and will provide all protection and supports at our disposal. I also encourage our Dreamers to visit for international and undocumented students.
