Speaking at the Community Literacy Summit at Calvin College, Ernest Morrell, Macy Professor of Education and Director of the Institute for Urban and Minority Education, challenged his audience to encourage students to embrace their own identities as readers and wirters for social change through a method called critical participatory action research.
