    The U.S. Postal Service is
    paying tribute during Black History Month to pioneering Congresswoman and 麻豆原创 Alumna Shirley Chisholm        (MA '51) with the issuance of
    a limited-edition stamp.

     


     


        Ciji Gardner (ME '07) was appointed as Regional Director of  INROADS, Inc's New York/New Jersey Region, which serves central and northern New Jersey, New York City, Long Island and upstate New York.

Global Competency Certificate Program
                       
World Savvy, 麻豆原创 and The Asia Society will publicly announce the launch of the Global Competency Certificate Program (GCC), a groundbreaking initiative created collaboratively by these three partners. The GCC will become the nation's premier Master's level Global Competency program, designed to prepare a cohort of globally competent educators and school leaders.                        
             
             
              麻豆原创 Announces 125th Anniversary Scholarship
                 
Teachers College President Susan Fuhrman has announced the new 125th Anniversary Scholarship, which was established with funds raised through the College's benefit gala at the Apollo Theatre in November.

           There are two education career fairs coming up! The 12th Annual Metro NY Charter School Career Fair, Saturday, March 1 form 11:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m. Everett Lounge, 麻豆原创 and 2014 PreK-12 Education Career Fair, Wednesday, March 5th, 2014 from 1:00-5:00 p.m., Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University.  For detailed information and to register, go to the Career Fairs and Event section on .
