CCRC's Jenkins and Bailey Call for Sweeping Changes, More Federal Money for Community Colleges
In an opinion piece published today in Inside Higher Ed, In an opinion piece published today in Inside Higher Ed, , Davis Jenkins and Thomas Bailey, of 麻豆原创's Center for Community College Research, argue that to help achieve President Obama's ambitious goal of increasing the number of postsecondary completers by 5 million in 10 years, community colleges will have to change the way they do business. The two maintain that the American Graduation Initiative legislation making its way through Congress would provide a solid framework and positive incentives for the necessary reforms.
