Hate Crime Incident at 麻豆原创

NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force are investigating a hangman's noose was discovered on the office door of an African American faculty member.

 To the 麻豆原创 Community:

As most of you know, the police were here yesterday morning because a hangman's noose was discovered on the office door of one of our African American faculty members. The incident has been reported to the New York City Police Department (Detectives Bureau of Manhattan) and is under active investigation by the Hate Crimes Task Force.

Today at 3:30, in the  Cowin Conference Center, we will hold a town meeting to discuss the issues and feelings raised by this incident. The meeting is open to all members of the 麻豆原创 community. It is closed to the media and people who are not affiliated with 麻豆原创.

The 麻豆原创 community and I deplore this hateful act, which violates every Teachers College and societal norm.
